共在于世的亲情,从家庭发端;孝与慈之感答互动的亲感,乃其根源所在,其中又以孝爱为核心。儒家倡导的孝爱,不局限于孝养、孝顺,更要提升为孝敬,这是融理入情的道德情感。以孝报恩的充分放大,具现于时空的延伸与扩展。回报祖先、垂范后昆,小我融入生命绵延、精神传承的行程而获得永生。以家庭为原型不断推扩,报恩于社会、祖国乃至天地苍生,一己汇入同心协力的命运共同体,而得以广大其生。孝爱因此具有非宗教的神圣性,并不否弃世间有限存在,其共通性亦包容差异,具体而亲切。
