梁启超是近代中国较早关注儿童,重视儿童教育的教育家之一。他否定“父为子纲”的传统教育观,主张尊重儿童的个性和身心发展规律,同时致力于儿童文学理论的建设。他不但自己创作儿童诗歌,还呼吁更多的人从事儿童诗歌的创作。他翻译的外国儿童小说有力地冲击了封建文化对儿童的禁锢。因此,梁启超是中国儿童文学走向自觉过程中的关键性人物。
Liang Qichao was one of the earliest Chinese educators who paid more attention to children and paid more attention to children’s education. He denied the traditional concept of “parent-child” and advocated respecting children’s personality and the law of physical and mental development while devoting themselves to the construction of children’s literature theory. He not only wrote his own children’s poetry, also called for more people engaged in the creation of children’s poetry. The foreign children’s novel translated by him transforms the imprisonment of feudal culture on children. Therefore, Liang Qichao is a key figure in the process of Chinese children’s literature toward conscientiousness.
