Objective To investigate the correlation between serum adiponectin Chemerin and interleukin (IL) -1β, IL-8 in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Methods From January 2014 to June 2015, 60 NAFLD patients in our hospital and 29 healthy people in the same period (control group). The levels of serum adiponectin Chemerin, IL-1β and IL-8 were measured and their correlations were analyzed. Results Serum Chemerin, IL-1β and IL-8 in NAFLD group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). Chemerin was positively correlated with IL-1β and IL-8 (P <0.01). Conclusions Chemerin is significantly increased in patients with NAFLD and is closely related to IL-1β and IL-8. Chemerin, IL-1β and IL-8 may be involved in the occurrence and development of NAFLD.
