Objective: To study the complications and nursing of PICC catheter in patients with tumor chemotherapy. Methods: The author’s hospital from October 2015 to March 2016 56 patients with cancer chemotherapy divided into two groups, all patients underwent PICC catheterization, PICC catheterization in Group A routine nursing intervention; B group PICC catheter Proactive nursing interventions are used in the process. The anxiety, depression scores, nursing satisfaction and PICC complications were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results: The satisfaction rate of nursing care in group B was significantly higher than that in group A, and the complication rate of PICC catheterization was significantly lower than that in group A (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in anxiety and depression scores between the two groups before nursing (P> 0.05), while the scores of anxiety and depression in group B after nursing were lower than those in group A (P <0.05). CONCLUSION: Predictive care during PICC catheterization in patients with cancer chemotherapy can effectively reduce the adverse emotions, reduce the incidence of catheter complications and improve patient satisfaction with nursing services, which is worth popularizing and applying.
