During most of the feudal society before the end of the Qing dynasty, China’s political, economic and cultural development had led the world in the East and thus had a widespread impact on the neighboring national cultures. Japan is a country far-reaching by Chinese culture. In the long history of Sino-Japanese cultural relations, China is always giving and not taking the initiative to spread it. In contrast to the Japanese enthusiasm to come to China, in ancient times, the Chinese were not very much concerned about Japan. In the eyes of the Chinese people, Japan is just a regular tribute to Dongyi. However, this state reversed after the Meiji Restoration in Japan succeeded. The sign of radical change was the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895. Corresponding to the reversal of the cultural status of China and Japan and the change of the Japanese outlook on the Chinese people, Chinese society has emerged as a trend of learning from all over the country.
