三菱重工公司生产柴油机喷油设备具有悠久的历史,其产品有直列式多柱塞喷油泵和泵喷油器两类。为满足功率为525～2250kW范围的高功率柴油机的要求,最近该公司开发出了PS系列直列式喷油泵,它是三菱公司直列式喷油泵中最大的一种,其最高压力为100MPa,减小了喷油延续期,从而有助于降低燃油消耗和废气排放。目前,该公司正在研制更先进的泵喷油器,把传统的泵喷油器技术与电子控制技术融为一体,开发出具有高喷射压力和可变喷油定时以及发动机调速功能等特点的三菱电控泵喷油器系统。
