The air force-sponsored aeronautical layout of the Missile Program (ACM) and its subsequent low-cost aerodynamic layout missile demonstration program epitomized the impact of the achievements of the two research programs on the future missile scenario. The goal of the ACM program is to make all performance aerodynamic improvements made to all supersonic cruise and maneuvering missiles. This 30-month-long work can be divided into three phases. Different layout schemes are first proposed and then wind tunnel tests and performance analyzes are conducted. This article provides an overview of some of the major achievements made so far and their applications, including: A Preliminary Look at This Design. Expected model (prototype), evaluation of the expected model, and evaluation of some other missile programs. In the future, a less expensive flight test plan will be elaborated with the goal of verifying the performance of missiles at high M-numbers and high resistance ratios. Use off-the-shelf equipment, standard projectile structure designs, off-the-shelf ACM’s test database, and flight trajectories mapped to it, and develop a plan for development. However, two flight test protocols were identified. The two pilot programs are the voyages of the Vandenberg Air Force’s launch of a non-reclaimable and recumbent wing fusion program on the ground and B-52 aircraft. This is an aircraft designed for the ACM that provides a container for a wide range of equipment for testing purposes. The planned design costing and subsystems pilot plans include the need for models with increased M-numbers.
