针对近年来在非物质文化遗产领域中出现“原生态”保护与利用的呼声,本文探讨了原生态的定义及其与原真性的关系,提出非物质文化遗产相对意义上的生态形式划分更具有理论与实践意义。以关中影戏为例,可从自身形态、环境形态和适应形态上将其划分为原生态、次生态和新生态,不同生态形式下的非物质文化遗产应有不同的工作重点:原生态着重于保存;次生态着重于保护;新生态着重于利用。
