利用2003~2012年中国省级面板数据,应用面板向量自回归模型,研究出口、环境污染和对外直接投资之间的互动关系。结果发现出口与对外直接投资存在明显的互补效应,但出口与环境污染间不存在显著的相互正向影响因此不支持中国的“污染天堂”假说,而对外直接投资与环境污染间存在着非对称关系,即环境污染程度的上升导致对外直接投资额的提高,而对外直接投资额的提高反过来能使环境污染有所控制。
Using the panel data of China’s provinces at the provincial level from 2003 to 2012, a panel vector regression model was applied to study the interaction between exports, environmental pollution and foreign direct investment. As a result, it is found that there is a significant complementary effect between exports and outward FDI, but there is no significant positive correlation between exports and environmental pollution. Therefore, China does not support the “pollution paradise” hypothesis. However, there is a gap between outward FDI and environmental pollution Asymmetry, that is, an increase in the level of environmental pollution, has led to an increase in the level of outward direct investment, which in turn can lead to environmental pollution control.
