对于《孟子·滕文公上》篇“舍皆取诸其宫中而用之”一句中“舍”字的理解,向来存在争议.历代注家对“舍”字的不同训释均存在问题.句中“舍”字宾语的非典型性和“何不”连用造成的对整个句子逻辑语义关系的误判,是对“舍”字误解的主要原因.句中“舍”字的正确训释其实正是其在先秦最常见的用法,即为动词,表“放弃/舍弃”义.
