我国铁路客票发售和预订系统的建设是铁路客票发售管理的一项重大改革,自1996年11月铁道部在西安召开“客票发售和预订系统建设会议”后,现已有近200多个车站实现了电子售票。1997年上半年铁道部客票总体组又研制开发了适应地区客票中心建设和联网售票的统一软件2.0版,6月在广州建成了我国第1个地区客票中心,进行2.0版的试点工作,顺利完成
