二十世纪的中国画坛,呈现着一种呼唤改革、实践改革的格局。百年来,中国画的发展取得了长足的进步,在这种改革与发展的进程中,每个中国画家都面临着如何选择突破口,使中国画的变革取得根本性进展的问题。时代的进步早已使工笔重彩画不再只用“十八描”了,但这并不意味着传统没有可再发掘利用的价值。“选择”意味着对传统的重新审视,意味着对现代观念的正确评判,意味着使我们的绘画在传统与现在之间找到一个合适的生长点,还意味着一个画家对自己的把握。
The Chinese painting of the 20th century presented a pattern calling for reform and practice of reform. In the past 100 years, the development of Chinese painting has made great strides. In the process of reform and development, each Chinese painter is faced with the problem of how to choose a breakthrough and make fundamental progress in the reform of Chinese painting. The progress of the times has long stopped the use of the heavy color painting of the pen, but this does not mean that the tradition has no value to explore. “Choice” means re-examining the tradition means that a correct judgment of the modern concept means that our painting can find a proper place for growth between tradition and present, and it means an artist can grasp himself.
