In recent years, some prisons have successively implemented the system of “special meeting with goodwill” (also known as “meeting their loved ones ”). If the prisoners serving their sentences are outstanding, they can live with their spouses for one or two days a month in specific places in prisons. Allegedly, the move has many advantages: First, respect for prisoners’ human rights.
