The origin of granites was once a matter of concern to petrologists and geochemists. However, in recent years, it has been widely recognized that the deformation plays an essential role in the separation, migration and site-setting of silicon-rich melt in the continental crust. Accepted petrological models are increasingly being questioned because their establishment requires unrealistic rheological behavior of the rock and magma or because they can not satisfactorily explain the actual tectonic or geophysical data . Regardless of the tectonic setting, the fluid is assumed to be continuous, and kinetic considerations suggest that granitic magmatism is a rapid and dynamic process on the time scale of less than 0.1 Ma, far from the slow process of geology.
