关智民教授的绘画作品,近期专注表现一种超现实的风景中的单个人物形象,让人体置身于一种光与影变幻交织的气氛之中。他巧妙地将细腻、脆弱、柔美的女性人体躯干,放置于象征男性人体粗糙、刚烈、冰冷的山石及废旧的铁器中,具有强烈的对比和视觉张力。在一种如梦如幻的空间中,那种半是人体、半是雕塑的造物,似乎在伸展四肢挣脱束缚,也似乎在向上苍苦苦祈求……在关智民的作品面前,我们好像听到了画中的人物在诉说着人类社会的哀怨故事。
Professor Kwan-Min Kwan’s paintings have recently focused on representing a single character in a surreal landscape, placing the body in a mood of interplay of light and shadow. He skillfully placed the delicate, fragile and feminine human torso in a strong contrast and visual tension in rough, strong, cold rock and worn ironwork that symbolizes male bodies. In a dreamlike space, the half is a human body, half is a sculpture creation, seems to stretch out limbs to break free, but also seems to pray bitterly up ... ... in front of the work of Guan Zhimin, we seem to hear The characters in the painting tell the sad story of human society.
