山西省地震局学术委员刽根据国家地震局的有关文件,结合历年评奖的情况,重新制订了评奖程序和办法,并充实修改了评分标准,对可能出现的各种情况提出相应的处理意见,从而增强了评奖的科学性.依据国家地震局下达的奖励限额数,评出11项科技进步奖.二等奖:阎正萃等9人,《太原遥测地震台网的建设》;刘晋拴等6人,《太原基准地震台短水准观测成果(1983～1987)》;三等奖:景呈国等
