More than $ 5 billion will be invested in two devices for nuclear fusion research. The U.S. “national ignition” project invested about 3 billion U.S. dollars and the French “MJL” invested about 2.1 billion U.S. dollars. Both projects are planned to be completed by the end of this decade. These two projects are built to achieve the same goal: to obtain inertial confinement fusion. Scientists in both countries are building lasers that generate 1.8 MJ pulses. Placing this laser on a gold target produces X-rays, compressing deuterium-deuterium fuel pellets, creating fusion and releasing more energy. However, this task is extremely complex, just because they use more than 30,000 optical components. At Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the United States, the building containing the “national ignition” has begun. At the same time, in the suburbs of Bordeaux, France, the French Atomic Energy Agency
