通过对我国优秀板球运动员快速投球中投掷步技术的运动学测量,并且与国外运动员在关键指标上进行比较发现:在我国运动员中存在着混合型快速投球方式,且我国运动员球出手速度较低,在投掷步开始时身体重心水平速度较低,在前脚着地至球出手期间前腿膝关节弯曲幅度较大,在球出手时前腿膝关节角较小,在投掷步中肘与腕关节的最大速度较低,投掷臂运动对球出手速度的贡献较低。因此,我国运动员成绩提高的有效途径:转变已有的混合型快速投球技术,根据自身特点选择其它合适的快速投球技术类型;注重助跑速度的适当地提高以及跳步与投掷步衔接技术的改善;在前脚着地时前腿膝关节屈曲至150°以上,然后维持这个角度直至球出手;适度地增加投掷步步长;加强投掷臂挥臂技术以及肩关节的力量训练。
