In September 2011, as a Hanban official teacher of Chinese for foreigners, I came to a primary school in Norfolk, Virginia. Although I have had 13 years of teaching experience in China, but after all I have been teaching English in high school, it is still a challenge for me to teach Chinese and spread Chinese culture in elementary school in the United States.
