“公民身份”(citizenship)是分析被征地农民抗争的新的解释视角。被征地农民的抗争促进了农民的公民身份权利意识的觉醒和发展,生产出行动主义公民(activist citizen),并且众多的公民抗争行动还能借由逆向驯服能力促使政府尊重和保障农民的公民身份权利(citizenship rights)。此种解释不仅有利于深化学术界关于农民维权抗争是否具有政治性的认识,而且展现出中国语境下公民身份发展的特殊图景。 “Citizenship” is a new perspective of analysis of the resistance of landless farmers. The protests of land-expropriated peasants promoted the awakening and development of farmer’s awareness of citizen’s rights and produced activist citizens, and numerous civic protests can also promote the government’s respect and guarantee of peasants’ citizenship Citizenship rights. This kind of explanation not only helps to deepen the academic understanding about peasants’ rights protests, but also shows the special picture of citizenship development in Chinese context.
