节日是活动的文化载体。在不同的地域和时代里,人类在生活中累积了丰富的文化习俗,并衍生为代代流传的传统节日。每个节日都有一个主题,围绕着主题举行不同的活动,流传着很多传说,也在衣、食、住、行各方面衍生了不少别具特色的设计。这些都是人类在不同媒介上所进行的丰富多彩的艺术创作。中国是一个拥有五千多年悠久历史的国度,在这厚重的历史背后也承载着丰富多彩多种多样的传统节日,生活在中国的人们倍受传统文化的熏染,每逢佳节,人们带着各种当下礼品奔走相送,或者穿梭在市井大小巷口之间,从上至下各行各业都洋溢着从眼睛到心里的热烈浓郁喜庆的氛围。当代中国节庆食品在传统佳节中占据着尤为重要的地位,人们对食品的追求已经不能满足于单纯的温饱,更加注重的是食品本身的质量和对食品的包装则产生了不可逆流的高需求。
