介绍了天荒坪抽水蓄能电站 30 0MW水泵水轮机原主轴密封的设计要求及其结构 ,分析了原主轴工作密封运行不正常的原因是 :工作密封转速高、单边压力大 ,冷却水压力变化大 ,抽水蓄能电站的工况转换复杂 ,致使原设计的随着下库水位变化自动调整压力的工作密封不能安全可靠运行。介绍了改进后的新主轴密封的结构和材料。试运行表明 :新主轴密封不受下库水位变化和工况转换的影响 ,适合于在抽水蓄能电站运行
