In the highly competitive market environment, Shandong Satellite TV’s advertising revenue in 2003 still maintained a steady growth rate of nearly 10%. 260 million yuan in 1998, 270 million yuan in 1999, 300 million yuan in 2000, 350 million yuan in 2001 and 370 million yuan in 2002, and has consistently maintained the first place for revenue-generating single provincial media ads. Shandong Satellite TV is not as compelling as the reform of Taiwan’s sister province and Taiwan. However, with its steady and pragmatic style, it has been quietly innovating its business philosophy.
