Using the standardized water discounted water production cost method and the latest DEEP 1.1 seawater desalination evaluation software, a comparative study was conducted on the economic competitiveness of a large number of nuclear desalination and conventional energy seawater desalination schemes in the Middle East, Arabian Sea and North Africa.
