Microbacterium (mesotrione) is a new type of agricultural antibiotic developed successfully by Institute of Bioscience and Biomedicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The antibiotic is N-glycoside alkaline water-soluble substance (its producing bacterium is named as Streptomyces lavendiflorum Hainan variant).
