Forests are an important national resource. The province’s existing forest area of 10 million mu, accounting for 5% of the province’s land area, barren hills of about 100 million mu. This situation has caused insufficient supply of timber, serious soil erosion and frequent crop failures. In order to change this situation, protecting the existing forest has become the top priority of our current forestry work. Because of the small number of existing forests, it is the only condition for our province to maintain its soil and water resources. It is the base for supplying national timber in the next few decades. It is also the seed source for large-scale forestry construction. Forest fires are the greatest enemy of forest safety. In recent years, there has been progress and achievements in our forest fire prevention work. In 1954, the number of fires and the number of burned trees dropped significantly in 1955 compared with 1953 in the same period in 1995 to the same period in 1945 , The number of fires decreased by 27.9% and the number of burned trees decreased by 30.4%. This is mainly due to the importance of party and government at all levels and the widening of the mountainous areas
