Balzac, the critically realistic master of criticism in the history of literature, is famous for his masterpiece “human comedy”. All those who have come into contact with foreign literature are praising the literary giant for the first half of the nineteenth century Giant genre paintings show the vast and profound impressed. However, over the past hundred years, one of the more important aspects of Balzac’s creative tendency has been neglected by researchers, at least it has not received due attention. This question, once emphasized by Balzac himself, is the idealistic tendency shown in “human comedy”, that is, praise of truth, goodness and beauty in Balzac’s work.
