Forty years ago, when the computers of the four universities in the southwestern United States became a network, people never thought that the Internet would have such a far-reaching impact on life and work. Today, the sudden emergence of the concept of the Internet of things has brought more human imagination, with the infinite vision of people, the Internet of Things has become one of the hottest topics. After the inauguration of the U.S. President Barack Obama in early 2009, he gave a positive response to the smart infrastructure including the Internet of Things (IoT) at the roundtable meeting with the business leaders of the United States and proposed the concept of “smart earth” Energy “and” Internet of Things “are listed as the two major weapons for rejuvenating the economy. The Wisdom Earth is considered by the Americans as a key strategy for rejuvenating the economy and establishing a global competitive advantage. On August 7, 2009, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council inspected the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Micro and nano sensor network engineering and technology research and development center and proposed to set up China’s sensor information center as soon as possible and vividly call it ”China-Perceived“ center. Since then, The ”Internet of Things“ concept, such as a whirlwind in China, set off a new wave of the world’s information industry following the computer, Internet and mobile communications networks. The Internet of Things, which is currently being advocated and respected, is the strategy that underpins the strategy of ”smart earth“ and ”perception of China." So what exactly is the Internet of Things? What impact will it have on people’s lives and how much longer will it take to reach reality?
