When Chinese medicine is respected abroad, it seems that it has repeatedly encountered embarrassment in the country. After Professor Zhang Gongyao of Central South University called for public signature to cancel Chinese medicine, Professor Li Li-nong of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Fang Kezi, a famous science editor and editor-in-chief of the journalist Fang Shizi, questioned the “scientific nature” of Chinese medicine one after another. Academician He Zuoyang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences also made it clear that “Chinese medicine is unscientific.” The question then evolved into a big debate about the “extinction of Chinese medicine.” In this regard, the Ministry of Health made it clear that it resolutely opposes the cancellation of the words and deeds of Chinese medicine practitioners and that “combining both traditional Chinese and Western medicine” is one of the guidelines for China’s health work. Apart from the personal motivation in the argument of this speech, whether Chinese medicine is scientific and how the value of Chinese medicine manifests itself is still worth the reflection of people. The United States of America Brown University MD, Hong Kong Rehabilitation Medicine Association, Kowloon Hospital rehabilitation department formed, is a pure Western medicine. In his book “Chinese Medicine meets with Western Medicine,” he narrates the historical development of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in an objective and detailed manner. Through its cool brushwork, we may be able to enlighten.
