AIDS has spread rapidly around the world and has become a major public health issue of global concern and a hot topic in society. Currently there are still many deficiencies in the listing of anti-HIV drugs, and people still need to actively look for new anti-HIV drugs. Microorganisms are widely distributed and diverse in nature, and screening anti-HIV drugs has a good prospect. In this paper, we summarize the research progress and the main mechanism of action of anti-HIV active substances from microorganisms in recent years, mainly from the process of HIV virus infection, including substances that prevent the process of HIV adsorption and fusion, inhibit the binding of co-receptor Substances and other active substances that inhibit the transmission of HIV. The discovery of these active substances will further accelerate the pace of AIDS.
