This Sunday morning I was playing with my cat at home. Suddenly， I broke（打坏） the vase on the table.
The vase was the apple of my father’s eyes. What can I do？ My friend said to me， “Don’t worry. Tell your father that the cat did it.”
I thought for a while and said， “No， I will tell him the truth（真相）， or（否则） I am not a good boy.”
When my father came back home， I told him the truth. My father wasn’t angry with me. He said， “You’ve done wrong， but I can see you are truly（真正地） sorry for it. You are an honest（诚实的） boy.”
