能够调动校内学生的巨大资源,形成一个多维度的学习群体。学生帮助学生,不只是在运动场上,不只是课外活动,也不是高年级替低年级补习,而是把学生的力量,经常化地融会到正规的学习里面。这方面的潜力,是无可估量的。冒着大雪,参观了日本秋田的东成濑小学校。访问的原因是:秋田县地大人少,却是全日本成绩最好的学区。学校很小,只有122人,2001年因为人口下降而由四所村校合并而成。一进学校,马上看到的是学校到处都张贴着学生的作业。每份作业旁边都有几张彩色小贴纸。走近看,原来那些小贴纸,是高年级学生给低年级学生写的评语。比如说,一份三年级学生的作业,有两位四五年级的学生在贴纸上写上评语,一般都是不太短的一段话;教师也
Able to mobilize the huge resources of students in school, forming a multi-dimensional learning groups. Students help students, not just on the playground, not just extra-curricular activities, nor higher grades for lower grades, but the power of students, often integrated into formal learning. The potential in this area is immeasurable. Braved the snow, visited the East Naruse Elementary School in Akita, Japan. The reason for the visit is that there are few adults in Akita prefecture, but it is the best school district in Japan. The school is very small, only 122 people. In 2001, the school was merged by four villages because of the population decline. As soon as I got into school, I immediately saw that students posted their homework everywhere. Next to each assignment there are several small color stickers. Closer look, the original small stickers, is written by senior students to lower grades comments.
