Zhang Jun returned from studying in the UK. A few of our friends hosted a banquet for him. At the same time, an indecent mantra of a friend made him unhappy, and his expression of disgust was shown on several occasions. On the way to Zhang Jun’s return to the home, I explained to the friend that the mantra is nothing more than a linguistic habit of pointing. When I used to hear it, I didn’t feel anything. Zhang Jun said in silence for a moment: “I will tell you about my experience when I first arrived in the UK!” Like most Chinese students in Bristol, I also lived in a local family home. The landlord surnamed Campbell is an elderly couple. The Campbells and the couple were very warm and generous. They just symbolically charged me a few pounds of rent and hard-hit me from their neighbors. Having a foreign student living at home is a very proud thing for them. Not only did they quickly let people in the entire community know about it, but they also told electric children in Manchester and London. Every day I go back to the “home,” delicious meals are waiting for me every four or five days.
