六十年代激光技术问世,为科学技术及工业部门提供了一个极好的光源。激光的重要特点在于:高的单色性,具有良好的空间和时间相干性;高的方向性,几乎是一束平行光,并可直接获得偏振光;高强度,其能量高度集中。这些特点正符合光弹技术的需要。由于激光有极好的相干性,从而实现和发展了全息照相技术。全息技术和普通光弹技术相结合,产生了全息光弹性这门新技术,给光弹技术带来新的活力,解决了一些光弹技术问世以来一直未解决的问题。
The advent of laser technology in the 1960s provided an excellent source of light for the science, technology and industry sectors. The important characteristics of lasers are: high monochromaticity, good spatial and temporal coherence; high directivity, almost a bundle of parallel light, and direct access to polarized light; high intensity, high energy concentration. These features are in line with the needs of photoelastic technology. Because of the excellent coherence of the laser, holographic technology is realized and developed. The combination of holographic technology and ordinary photoelastic technology has created a new technology of holographic photoelasticity that brings new vitality to photoelastic technology and solves some unsolved problems since the advent of photoelastic technology.
