In the desert of eastern Egypt, two isolated tribes live: Abdach and Pisan. The two unknown tribes were discovered by chance by Shahira Fazi, a famous Egyptian anthropologist 14 years ago. Shahira Faz, a Cairo native, 34, studied at the University of Cairo, the United States, with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology. During her study, she first came to the inhabitants of the eastern desert. While she was examining the environment in Nasser Reservoir, she met two women and two children and she was surprised to find that they were not speaking Arabic. From their gestures, she thinks they came from a place called Abelak.
