全美中文教师学会(The Chinese Language Teachers Association)1.概况全美中文教师学会(简称CLTA),成立于1962年,是一个由汉语教师、学生组成的社团,总部设立于美国。它致力于促进世界范围内的中国语言、文学、文化的教学及汉语教学法的研究。目前拥有5个分会和两个地区性组织。自成立以来,CLTA一直注意尽可能地及时反映出入会学生、教师以及汉语教学界的变化,并随时进行各种调整以适应这些变化。该学会的会员主要是国内外各高校从事中国语言、文学以及文化教学的专家学者,同时也包括中、小学和华人社区学校的汉语教师,还有各类语言社团及相关团体的学生。他们中有的人母语是汉语,有的人母语是其他语言。CLTA有丰富的出版物及年会,同时它又不断扩展自己在汉语教学领域的服务范围。
The Chinese Language Teachers Association 1. Overview The National Institute of Chinese Teachers (CLTA), founded in 1962, is a community of Chinese teachers and students with headquarters in the United States. It is dedicated to promoting the teaching of Chinese language, literature and culture and the teaching of Chinese in the world. Currently has 5 clubs and two regional organizations. Since its inception, the CLTA has been making every effort to reflect the changes in student enrollment, teachers and Chinese teaching as promptly as possible and make various adjustments at any time to adapt to these changes. The association’s members are mainly experts and scholars engaged in Chinese language, literature and cultural teaching in colleges and universities at home and abroad. It also includes Chinese teachers in primary, secondary and Chinese community schools as well as students from various language associations and related groups. Some of them have a mother tongue in Chinese and others have other mother tongues in other languages. CLTA has a wealth of publications and annual meetings, while it continues to expand its services in the field of Chinese teaching.
