采用空域有限差分法模拟了(Vicsek-分形结构和Von-雪花分形结构)具有分形特征的二维金属型光子晶体的带隙特性。结果发现采用分形结构后,光子晶体产生了与谐振无关的多频段带隙甚至出现了完全带隙,带隙宽度得到了进一步展宽,为设计多频段光子晶体带隙提供了一条新的途径。
The bandgap properties of two-dimensional metallic photonic crystals with fractal features (Vicsek-fractal structure and Von-snowflake fractal structure) are modeled using the finite difference method in the airspace. The results show that the fractal structure makes the photonic crystal produce multi-band bandgap which has nothing to do with the resonance or even the full bandgap. The bandgap width is further broadened, which provides a new way to design the bandgap of multi-band photonic crystal.
