为了改善水玻璃砂的落砂性,苏联铸造业研究了对水玻璃粘结剂是惰性的附加物,并对附加物惰性有影响的吸水性作了试验。附加物分12种:(1)未作处理的木屑;(2)用20％柴油处理的木屑:(3)用20％粘结剂KO处理的木屑;(4)用50％水玻璃拌木屑;(5)粘土粉;(6)用20％柴油处理的粘土;(7)用20％粘结剂KO处理的粘土;(8)用50％水玻璃拌粘土;(9)木屑与粘土的混合物(比例是1:2);(10)用20％柴油处理的木屑及粘土;(11)用20％粘结剂KO处理的木屑及粘土,以及(12)用50％水玻璃拌木屑及粘土。木屑在处理前均经烘干以减少其吸水性。
In order to improve the falling sand of the sodium silicate, the Soviet foundry industry has studied the addition of an inert additive to the waterglass binder and tested the water absorption of the additive inertness. There are 12 additional species: (1) unprocessed wood chips; (2) wood chips treated with 20% diesel: (3) wood chips treated with 20% binder KO; (4) wood chips mixed with 50% ; (5) clay powder; (6) clay treated with 20% diesel; (7) clay treated with 20% KO; (8) clay mixed with 50% sodium silicate; (10) sawdust and clay treated with 20% diesel; (11) sawdust and clay treated with 20% binder KO; and (12) wood chips mixed with 50% sodium silicate and clay. Wood chips are dried before treatment to reduce their water absorption.
