学习者自主学习是大学英语的教学目的和手段。在当前社会形势下,大学英语对学生的语言能力提出越来越高的要求,传统的以教师为中心的外语教学模式日益受到质疑和批判,它被以教师引导的、学生积极参与的自主式教学模式取代似乎已成必然趋势。然而研究者和专家在大力呼吁学生学习自主之时,似乎对教师自主的问题有所忽略,或者说不够重视。实际上,教师自主与学生自主是紧密相连、不可分割的。本文主要探讨教师和学生如何实现彼此自主的有效结合,以适应新的外语教学模式发展的要求。
Learner self-study is the teaching purpose and means of college English. Under the current social situation, college English puts forward higher and higher requirements on the students’ language ability. The traditional teacher-centered foreign language teaching model is increasingly being questioned and criticized. It is guided by the teachers and students actively participate in the autonomy Teaching mode replacement seems to be the inevitable trend. However, when researchers and experts strongly urge students to learn autonomously, it seems that they have neglected or not taken seriously the issue of teacher autonomy. In fact, teacher autonomy and student autonomy are closely linked and inseparable. This paper mainly discusses how teachers and students can effectively combine with each other and adapt themselves to the development of new foreign language teaching models.
