在准噶尔盆地北部平原荒漠灌溉区经5年试验,总结出在土壤含有一定盐分的高水位区地下水位与紫花苜蓿根深关系的回归方程为Y=1.046X-0.355,从而确定了控制地下水位的灌溉方法,即当水位降至1m左右时为适宜灌溉期,灌溉至水位上升到地表下30cm左右即可,能避免紫花苜蓿死亡,使建立苜蓿人工草地获得成功。
