近日,朝鲜将朝中边境城市平安北道新义州市指定为经济特区,这是朝鲜1991年12月宣布罗津先锋经济贸易地区以来,第一次指定并对外公布经济特区。 新义州是朝鲜最大的边境城市,也是朝鲜最大的纺织工业中心。其中特区主体部分82平方公里和中国的丹东市隔江相望,通过鸭绿江大桥相距仅200米;另一部分50平方公里,则位于朝鲜西海岸。新义洲现有人口30万～40万,面积189.4平方公里。新建立的新义州特别行政区并不完全和原来的新义州市重合,只包括新义州市的主要市区和附近乡村,以及周边义州郡、铁山郡、盐州郡的一部分,一共132平方公里。
Recently, North Korea will designate XinYiZhou as the special economic zone on the north of the border city of Pingan, this is the first time that North Korea appointed and publicized the special economic zones since the proclamation of the pioneer economic and trade zone in February 1991. Sinuiju is North Korea’s largest border city and North Korea’s largest textile industrial center. The main part of the SAR 82 square kilometers and China’s Dandong across the river through the Yalu River Bridge only 200 meters apart; the other part of 50 square kilometers, it is located on the west coast of North Korea. The existing population of Xinyi Island 300,000 ~ 400,000, an area of 189.4 square kilometers. The newly established Sinuiju Special Administrative Region does not completely coincide with the original Sinuiju and covers only the main urban areas and nearby villages in Sinuiju City as well as a part of the surrounding areas of Yeosu County, Tieshan County and Yanju County, a total of 132 square feet Km.
