植物组织的无机元素分析是生物科学研究工作、环境保护及科学种田所必须的。P、K、Ca、Mg、B、Cu、Fe、Mn、Mo、Zn、Co等是植物必须的营养元素,但过剩又会引起植物的某些生理病害。Cd、V、Cr、Ni、Pb等重金属元素,则由于其对人、畜、植物的毒害作用,成为环境科学的重要研究对象。目前,植物组织分析常采用的原子吸收法,其灵敏度高,准确性好,但不能实现多元素同时测定;有些元素(如P、B等),原子吸收法灵敏度较低,需另外使用手续繁杂的其它方法测定。
