中国的大运河与万里长城一样,被列为世界最宏伟的四大古代工程之一,这是中国劳动人民和一大批水利专家利用自然与改造自然的伟大创造。中国大运河是世界上开凿时间最早、流程最长的一条人工运河。它创始于春秋时期,公元前486年(周敬王三十四年)吴王夫差开凿的从江都(今扬州)到末口(今淮安)的南北水道邗沟,距今已有2400多年的历史。从此以后不断地开凿整修,直至公元1293年(元世祖至元三十年),完成了一条由杭州直达北京纵贯南北的人工大运河。大运河全长1782
Like the Great Wall, China’s Grand Canal is listed as one of the four most magnificent ancient works in the world. It is a great creation of the Chinese working people and a large number of water conservancy experts who use nature and transform nature. The Grand Canal of China is the earliest man made canal with the longest process in the world. It was founded in the Spring and Autumn Period, 486 BC (King Zhou King thirty-four years) Wu Wangfu poor cut from Jiangdu (now Yangzhou) to the end of the mouth (now Huaian) of the North-South waterway ditch, dating back more than 2,400 years history. From then on, the renovation was continued until AD 1293 (Yuan Shi Zu-yuan thirty years), completed an artificial Grand Canal from north to south from Hangzhou to Beijing. The Grand Canal is 1782 in length
