采用微波烧结工艺制备金刚石-WC硬质合金复合材料,并和常规烧结工艺进行对比.分别对烧结样品进行了硬度、致密度等性能测试,采用扫描电镜(SEM)观察样品微观形貌,并采用能谱仪(EDX)对样品进行元素分析.结果表明,微波烧结升温速度快,周期短;在烧结温度为1 000℃,保温时间为1 h条件下,微波烧结样品的硬度HRA为75.33,相对密度为95.85%,较常规烧结样品的硬度69.58和相对密度87.28%要高;此外,相比于常规烧结,微波烧结样品烧结较为充分,金刚石受烧损情况较轻,且与基体结合较好,微波烧结工艺在制备金刚石-WC硬质合金复合材料过程中优势较为明显.
Diamond-WC cemented carbide composites were prepared by microwave sintering process and compared with the conventional sintering process.The hardness, density and other properties of sintered samples were tested respectively, and the microstructure of samples was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) (EDX). The results show that microwave sintering has the advantages of fast heating rate and short cycle time. The hardness HRA of microwave sintering sample is 75.33 at sintering temperature of 1 000 ℃ and holding time of 1 h, The density is 95.85%, which is 69.58 and 87.28% higher than that of the conventional sintered samples. In addition, compared with the conventional sintering, the sintering of the microwave sintered samples is more adequate, the burning of the diamond is lighter, and the bonding with the substrate is better, Microwave sintering process in the preparation of diamond-WC cemented carbide composite material is more obvious advantages.
