Some people say that the ancients always wanted to put the best scenery in the world under their own door, so they had a garden. Nowadays, people are chanting ancient times and always want to copy the leisurely feelings of the ancients’ poetry and paintings. Therefore, they have a garden of the present. This is of course a kind of “argument” - gardening, in order to “get the beauty of the mountains and waters without going out of the city and get the interest of Linquan in downtown.” Looking back at history, for more than a thousand years, the construction of an exquisite garden with pavilions and water fountains seems to be the dream of ancient scholars and it still stretches. However, behind the garden, it is only people’s attachment to the beauty and the nostalgia of the past.“The Chinese garden is a frightening garden, a real fantastic dream, and a small imaginary world.” The pioneer in the field of modern architecture in China wrote this way. Perhaps it can be said that gardening starts with complex feelings and ends with dreams.
