托马斯·哈代的悲剧性叙事艺术及思想意识来源于故园多塞特在他内心的纠结而成的情伤。结合精神分析学理论分析当时的英国社会史实和“威塞克斯小说”系列发现,英国工业革命和现代化进程冲击了托马斯·哈代浓厚的故园情,酿成哈代“怀念故园而故园不再”的故园情结。哈代以创伤书写的方式表达了他对英国工业革命后渐行渐远的多塞特式故园的思恋,呼吁在社会经济发展同时应兼顾民众家园情怀。
Thomas Hardy’s tragic narrative art and ideology originated from the emotional wounds of Dorset in his hometown. Combined with the psychoanalytic theory analysis of the historical facts of the British society and the series of “Wessex novels” at the time, it was found that the process of British industrial revolution and modernization had hit the thick of the hometown of Thomas Hardy and caused Hardy’s “hometown miss” Then "the hometown complex.
