In 2005, the Ming Tombs of Ant Mountain in Hunan Province were unearthed from Zhang Miaoshou, the maternal nurse of Gu Wang Zhu, who was rebuilt in Changsha in the early Ming Dynasty. Cultural relics containing Buddhism and Taoism were unearthed. For this phenomenon of coexistence of Buddhism and Taoism, all scholars have expressed their own views. Some scholars have determined that in the epitaphs where the owner of the tomb has been recorded, there are also a large number of Taoist relics unearthed, which are related to the pursuit of counterattack by the king. The author believes that to clarify this issue, we can start from the facts of Wang Gu’s recklessness as recorded in “Ming Taizong’s Record”, which is well documented in the academic circle and contains a very important historical value of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and gradually approached the true nature of history.
