2010年8月30日,当北川羌族自治县西苑中学陈君校长从山东援建者手里接过重建后的新西苑钥匙时,他感慨万千:学校硬件至少向前跨越了50年,教育教学也必须跨越发展。可是如何跨越?他把突破口放在了课改上。西苑人带着对教育的执着追求,在吸取山东杜郎口、昌乐、江西宁达、江苏、广州等学校课改经验的基础上,结合本校实际,创造性地探索出“学、练、议、讲、评、测”六环节教学模式。在此教改模式下,西苑中学教育教学质量迅猛提升。课堂上学生自主学习氛围非常浓厚,畅所欲言的交流,精彩纷呈的展示,创新思维的发挥,珠联璧合的师生配合,生生牵手的扶助场面,一扫过去课堂上死气沉沉的现象。教师教育理念与专业精神的不断重构与塑造,在教研过程中专业成长,心理世界和情感世界不断丰富。正是因为如此,近三年,西苑中学均获县综合考核最高奖;中考成
