目的探讨表皮生长因子 (EGF)、转化生长因子 α(TGF α)和表皮生长因子受体 (EGFR)在垂体腺瘤发生、发展过程中的作用。方法应用放射性原位分子杂交法 ,观察上述3种分子的表达。结果在检测的22例垂体腺瘤组织中 ,分别有17例 (77 % )、12例(55 %)和20例(91 %)显示有EGF ,TGF α和EGFRmRNA的过度表达 ,它们在正常垂体组织中的阳性率分别为42 % ,25 %和42 %。不同的垂体腺瘤组织中3种mRNA的表达强度有差异。结论垂体腺瘤中存在着EGF/EGFR或/和TGF α/EGFR自分泌系统 ,该系统在垂体腺瘤的分化及增殖过程中可能起着重要的作用。
Objective To investigate the role of epidermal growth factor (EGF), transforming growth factor alpha (TGF alpha) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) in the development and progression of pituitary adenomas. Methods In situ hybridization was used to observe the expression of the above three molecules. Results Of the 22 pituitary adenomas examined, 17 (77%), 12 (55%), and 20 (91%) of the 22 pituitary adenomas showed overexpression of EGF, TGFα, and EGFR mRNA, respectively, in the normal pituitary The positive rates in the tissues were 42%, 25%, and 42%, respectively. The expression of three mRNAs differed in different pituitary adenomas. Conclusion There are EGF/EGFR or/and TGFα/EGFR autocrine system in pituitary adenomas. This system may play an important role in the differentiation and proliferation of pituitary adenomas.
