The Founding Conference of the Mechanical Instrumentation Institute of China Institute of Instrument and Control, Screw Screw Test Technology and Instrumentation Professional Committee was held in Chengdu from January 10 to 14, 1988. A total of 67 representatives from 22 provinces and cities across the country attended the conference. A total of 21 papers were read during the meeting, focusing on the processing, design, and testing of API oil pipe threads, common threads, and screw pairs.
